For the second consecutive month, OPPO‘s F19 Pro+ 5G has managed to sell the most number of units when it comes to 5G devices between the ₹25,000 & ₹30,000 price mark, in March & April of 2021. This data was provided by Counterpoint. According to Counterpoint, OPPO’s been having a good year overall as well.
OPPO grew 12% YoY and had an 11% market share in Q1 2021. OPPO made its 5G debut in Q1 2021 with the OPPO Reno 5 Pro 5G, which held a 3% market share in India’s 5G smartphone shipments. It also revamped its F-series with the F19 series, and with the F19 Pro Plus, the brand entered the 5G segment in the upper mid-tier segment. The consumer response to the F19 series has been positive.

OPPO said that Ahmedabad, Bengaluru & Mumbai were the top markets when it comes to shipping the F19 Pro+ 5G. The phone was launched in the mid-budget segment with the goal to make 5G accessible. OPPO had earlier claimed sales of ₹230 crores in the first three days when the F19 Pro series went on sale. The OPPO F Series continues being very much camera-centric with loads of photo & video features powered by AI, natively available on the phone.
